ROBOTIC EXOSKELETON THERAPY

ADF is the first life plan community in the nation to deploy the EksoGT™, a robotic exoskeleton device used for physical therapy.

The more than 25 men and women who have volunteered to use this cutting-edge technology are pioneers forging a path toward strength for themselves and new possibilities for others.

We’re researching ways to bring this technology to men and women who may not have access to cutting-edge therapies without ADF.

SOCIALLY ASSISTIVE ROBOTICS

ADF served as the primary global test site for cutting-edge research in socially assistive robotics, which has great potential to reduce social isolation and improve care delivery in life plan communities.

Dr. Conor McGinn, the Trinity College Dublin robotics engineer directing the project, has been recognized for this work in MIT Technology Review’s 2019 list of Innovators Under 35 Europe.

Further, TIME Magazine placed Stevie on its list of 100 BEST INVENTIONS of 2019.
