at Knollwood
Knollwood is a continuing care retirement community, providing three
distinct levels of living.
Independent Living
The Hall: Most Knollwood residents reside in the independent
living apartments, which range from efficiencies to spacious two bedrooms
with den. Here, residents share the comfort and camaraderie of living
among people with similar military backgrounds without the concern of
home maintenance, cleaning, meal preparation or safety.
Assisted Living
The Terrace: Knollwood’s assisted living community accommodates
42 private apartments where residents requiring assistance with meals,
grooming, and/or bathing are assisted by a staff of licensed practical
nurses and certified nursing assistants. Our care is intended to meet
an individual’s needs, while supporting their continuing independence.
 Nursing
Care
Health Services Center (HSC): Professional, long-term nursing
and skilled nursing care are available in Knollwood’s Health Services
Center. All 44 beds are licensed and Medicare- and Medicaid-certified.
This total care facility offers physical, occupational and speech therapy
services onsite.
