Directions to Knollwood Knollwood -- is located at 6200 Oregon Avenue, NW, in Washington, DC, on the corner of Oregon and Nebraska Avenue, across from Rock Creek Park (about a mile southwest of Walter Reed Army Medical Center). From the north: Take I-95 south to 495 west (Capital Beltway) toward Silver Spring/Rockville to Connecticut Avenue. Exit on Connecticut Avenue and go south about 2 miles to Chevy Chase Circle. Follow through the circle on Connecticut Avenue for about a mile and go left on Nebraska Avenue. Take Nebraska until it dead ends into Oregon Avenue. Go left on Oregon, and the entrance to Knollwood is your first left. From the south: Take I-95 north to 495. Go west on 495 toward Frederick. Cross the Potomac River on 495 and continue on to Connecticut Avenue. Do not exit on 270 north. Exit on Connecticut Avenue and go south about 2 miles to Chevy Chase Circle. Follow through the circle on Connecticut Avenue for about a mile and go left on Nebraska Avenue. Take Nebraska until it dead ends into Oregon Avenue. Go left on Oregon, and the entrance to Knollwood is your first left. From I-66: Take 495 north toward Bethesda/Frederick. Cross the Potomac River on 495 and continue on to Connecticut Avenue. Do not exit on 270 north. Exit on Connecticut and go south about 2 miles to Chevy Chase Circle. Follow through the circle on Connecticut Avenue for about a mile and go left on Nebraska Avenue. Take Nebraska until it dead ends into Oregon Avenue. Go left on Oregon, and the Knollwood entrance is your first left. From I-270: Stay left to Bethesda until you reach 495 east. Follow to next exit, which is Connecticut Avenue. Exit on Connecticut Avenue and go south about 2 miles to Chevy Chase Circle. Follow through the circle on Connecticut Avenue for about a mile and go left on Nebraska Avenue. Take Nebraska until it dead ends into Oregon Avenue. Go left on Oregon, and the Knollwood entrance is your first left. From Alexandria/Arlington: Cross Key Bridge and go left on to Canal Road. At second light veer right, turns into Foxhall Drive. Follow Foxhall until it dead ends into Nebraska Avenue. Go right. Cross Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Connecticut Avenues and follow Nebraska until it dead ends into Oregon. Go left on Oregon, and the Knollwood entrance is your first left. |
